Elizabeth Bowman
Elizabeth Bowman has spent 20 years working in Arts Education as a teaching artist, program director, professional development provider, facilitator and coach. Most recently, she created a K-5 Drama Program and teaches at Avoca West Elementary in Glenview, IL. Elizabeth is passionate about the role Drama plays in the social-emotional and artistic development of children. In addition to teaching, she serves on a districtwide SEL committee and has worked alongside her school based team to teach SEL skills and develop inclusion strategies for diverse learners. She was so gratified by the work of creating Drama & SEL lessons for EdTA last summer and is looking forward to this CAN project.
