Bring biography to life to uncover the powerful stories inside you!

Get out of your head to unearth the telling details that make your writing come alive. This unorthodox approach to writing is fun even for those who've never written before. Bring pen and paper/notebook, wear comfortable clothes, and park your self-judgment at the door! After an autobiographical exercise, we'll move on to focus on characters, whether historical or contemporary, fleshing them out through voice, rhythm, body energy center, and point of view. You'll learn to guide your students to devise theater organically and vividly.

Length: 90 minutes
