Directors interpret the script, and find a unifying concept that brings a complete and quality production to the stage. They guide the actors and design team through the process as they realize this vision. The Director uses seven basic tools to accomplish this:
Tool 1: Self —Training/background & Research
Tool 2: Script — Personalize Script and Text Analysis
Tool 3: Actors — Communicate with actors
Tool 4: Rehearsal — Auditions to Opening Night
Tool 5: Space — Emphasis on Focus
Tool 6: Design — Speak the Language of Design
Tool 7: Evaluation and Self-Assessment
