B.K. Goodman

Theatre Educator, Technical Theatre Director

BK Goodman serves as the Vice President and Director of Operations for Texas Thespians. Mr. Goodman is the Head Theatre Director at Morton Ranch High School as well as the Director of the Performing Arts Center . He produces over 6 main-stage productions a year in addition to many other events that center around student growth and development through theatre arts. He has created a Special Needs theatre program on his campus that provides opportunities for students of all abilities to use theatre therapy as a means to enhance student achievement. He has been in field of education for 10 years, accumulating many accolades for the success of his students in the University Interscholastic League One-Act Play competition. Mr. Goodman received his Bachelors Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and his Masters in Theatre from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Mr. Goodman also serves as the founder of two summer theatre camps in Texas. He loves spending time reading plays, designing sets, and helping other teachers grow in the classroom.
