2023 Theatre Education Conference - College Credit Course

Thanks to a partnership with Southern Utah University, EdTA Conference attendees can earn 1 college credit for 15 hours of seat time spent during the event. Here’s how:

  1. Register for this course prior to Conference.
  2. Attend each general session and a workshop during each session at Conference. Fill out the surveys to indicate which sessions you attended. Though you may skip sessions and/or choose to network during a particular time block, attendance at at least two workshops each day (along with attendance at all general sessions) is required in order to earn credit for attendance.
  3. After Conference, respond to the reflection questions. EdTA staff will read and score your reflection, then send instructions for claiming your credit.
  4. Claim your credit through Southern Utah University. The cost is $23.

09/28/2023 at 10:00 AM (EDT)   |  2 days, 11 hours  |  Attendance Required EdTA’s Theatre Education Conference is held each year to provide educators with the opportunity to meet and network with their peers during an event featuring a wide range of robust professional development opportunities, keynote speakers, and exhibits on the latest in theatrical technology and educational resources. After attending the conference and completing the course requirements below, conference attendees will be eligible for 1 college credit from Southern Utah University. Grading: This is a pass/fail course. The participant will be given a passing grade if they have logged the required 15 hours of seat time and completed the reflection assignment scoring a 3 or above on the rubric. There will be an additional charge levied by the university for processing credits of $21.00 per credit hour. 2023 Conference Dates: Thursday September 28th - Saturday September 30th
